Brake Drum Digital Calipers - 300mm (12")

300mm (12") measuring range digital calipers for measuring brake drum wear. The caliper jaws have two pegs that act as depth stops and also ensure the measurements are taken parallel. There are two sets of pegs a higher and lower set that allow measurement to be accurately taken at two heights. External data output interface via data cable (not supplied)

The jaws and slide beam are made from hardened stainless.The easy to read LCD display will convert between mm and inches. The calipers are easily calibrated using the setting gauge plate which has two contact pads set at 4 inches apart, place the calipers measuring points between the gauge pads. If the display is reading 4 inches the calipers are calibrated correctly. If the reading is out adjust the calibration screw on the jaw, close the calipers, press zero the button and place between the gauge pads until 4 inches is display on the LCD.
