• Zero-setting is performed with the ORIGIN button, and this setting does not have to be repeated during the entire life of the battery, even after power-off
• Measurement error due to spindle overspeed is eliminated with the ABSOLUTE encoder
• An economical digital indicator with an extremely long battery life suited to installation in measuring jigs where access may be restricted
• An ABSOLUTE scale only needs to have the origin position set once, which then holds for all future measurements
