Description

A solar powered, moderate resolution digital indicator with a lug-style back
No battery needed in normal levels of illumination and a power reserve ensures operation for more than 3 hours in a dimly lit environment (less than 40 Lux) from a fully charged state
ABSOLUTE System scale for error free, high-speed measurement. Digimatic data output
SPC Data capture compatible - requires F type Mitutoyo connector cable, (not included). For more information please see the datasheet below
The ID-SS indicates the absolute position of the spindle from the origin point at power-on, allowing measurement to start immediately
Mitutoyo's unique ABS (Absolute) sensor automatically restores the last origin position when the indicator is turned on
This allows quick-start operation, which is especially useful in multi-point measurement
Measurement error due to spindle overspeed is eliminated with the ABSOLUTE encoder
An ABSOLUTE scale only needs to have the origin position set once, which then holds for all future measurements, no matter how often the instrument is switched off
Incremental measurements can be made at any time without losing the origin setting
