The Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE AT715 precision scale
Comprised of a rigid aluminium extrusion with slotted end blocks for simple adjustable mounting
ABSOLUTE electromagnetic induction type linear encoder technology gives the AT715 excellent resistance to dust and water for enhanced machine tool usability
Detects and outputs an absolute position - no reference point setup needed at every power-on
An armoured signal cable is used to connect the scale unit to the DRO counter for safe operation in harsh shop environments
Additional interfaces are available to combine axis or convert the output to suit other manufacturer's equipment
